Role Summary:
The Finance Trainee will assist the finance team in handling day-to-day financial operations including financial reporting data analysis budgeting and compliance. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial management accounting practices and corporate finance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in financial data entry reconciliation and record-keeping.
- Support in preparing financial reports budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct data analysis to identify financial trends and variances.
- Help with invoice processing accounts payable and receivable tracking.
- Assist in tax filings audits and regulatory compliance.
- Research and analyze market trends costs and investment opportunities.
- Maintain financial documents and ensure proper documentation and filing.
- Support senior finance professionals in ad hoc financial projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (last semester or completed) in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of financial principles accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel accounting software (QuickBooks SAP etc.) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage financial data accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Eager to learn and develop financial expertise.
