About the Role:

The Team:

We are seeking ahighly organizedand collaborative professional to join the In-Business Control (IBC) team in a newly created Regulatory Response Lead role.

The Impact:

This position will play a critical part in enhancing the organizations ability to respond to regulatory and compliance inquiries by drafting responses coordinating across internal teams and building a centralized response library.

The successful candidate will partner with second line functions (Compliance and Legal) to ensure alignment and consistency in regulatory communications and supportautomation initiativesto streamline response management.

Responsibilities:

Regulatory Response Drafting & Coordination

  • Draft clear accurate and timely responses to regulatory and compliance inquiries exams and audits.
  • Partner with internal IBC teams to gather input and validate response content.
  • Partner with second line functions (Compliance and Legal) to ensure regulatory responses meet required standards.

Centralized Response Library Development

  • Build and maintain a centralized repository of regulatory responses and templates.
  • Promote consistency and efficiency in response drafting through standardized formats and reusable content.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the library reflects current regulatory expectations and internal practices.

Automation & Efficiency Enhancement

  • Identify opportunities to automate aspects of the response library and regulatory coordination process.
  • Support implementation ofAI-assisted capabilitiesand tagging systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with IBC leads across regions and functions to align messaging and response strategy.
  • Facilitate feedback loops and approvals with second line teams.
  • All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
  • We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.

What Were Looking For:

  • Exceptional organizational skillswith the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with experience drafting formal regulatory or legal correspondence.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance processes particularly in financial services or ratings environments.
  • Experience or interest inautomation tools and technologiesto support database creation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Collaborative mindset with high attention to detail and strong execution skills.
  • Experience working with second line functions and regulatory bodies is an advantage.
