This two-year programme is designed to prepare you for future engineering technical and operational engineering roles within GSKs Global Supply Chain (GSC) within your chosen discipline.

What will you do
Engineering Excellence: Design execute and validate engineering projects while adhering to industry-leading standards and regulations.
Project Management: Manage the lifecycle of new equipment from design to installation and commissioning ensuring seamless integration into operations working with suppliers.
Equipment Reliability: Enhance the performance safety and reliability of manufacturing equipment & utilities through predictive maintenance and lifecycle management.
Smart Manufacturing Innovation: Drive efficiency and innovation using AI and digital transformation technologies as part of our digital transformation journey.
Automation Expertise: Define and implement improvements upgrade systems and work with control systems and robotics technologies to optimise manufacturing operations
Digital & Data Expertise: Use data-driven approaches & data visualization techniques to monitor processes identify trends and implement solutions to improve decision making & operational efficiencies
Asset Management: Utilize techniques e.g. condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance for optimal equipment performance.
Problem-Solving: Develop analytical and advanced problem-solving skills (e.g. DMAIC/Six Sigma) to tackle complex challenges to improve processes and drive cross functional collaboration
Sustainability Initiatives: Contribute to energy management and sustainability projects supporting GSKs Net Carbon Zero mission.
