As a Lifestyle Assistant youll be part of an experienced engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincents Care Southport on the Gold Coast. Things that work for us:
Certificate III or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or diversional therapy is essential
Experience in an aged care facility developing Leisure programs including working with dementia clients
Ability to be able to work on a permanent part time basis
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to follow directives as per care plan
Understanding of Aged Care resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
