Role Summary:
The HR People Partner Group Functions Technical & Sustainability Procurement HR & Facility Management Vienna serves as a first point of contact for 210 employees and managers across the relevant Group Functions based in Vienna who provides leadership and guidance on individual HR needs and generate employee insights that influence organisational strategies.
Your Responsibilities:
- Serves as the HR of record in SAP SuccessFactors for employees in the assigned client groups.
- Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues and an individual employee-related HR matters; escalates concerns beyond their scope to HR Business Partners; navigates employees and manager to People Operations Specialists when it is the more appropriate resource.
- Actively engage with employees and managers by maintaining strong visibility in the workplace and being available to address needs and concerns.
- Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to managers and employees with specific focus on employee advocacy/engagement employee relations management performance management career development talent assessment talent acquisition and retention as well as disciplinary processes and workplace investigations as appropriate.
- Guide employees and managers through organisational changes to ensure smooth transitions and strong engagement.
- Serve as a strong HR people partner for managers to drive cohesive decision-making foster collaboration and drive the development and execution of key HR initiatives that align with business goals and Mondi HR strategy.
- Participate in employee interviewing selection and development to support talent acquisition and growth.
- Facilitate new hire orientation to ensure a positive onboarding experience and successful integration.
- Facilitate meetings and lead new manager assimilation sessions to build alignment and understanding.
- Partner closely with relevant Business & Functional HR Business Partners and HR CoE professionals to drive a cohesive and aligned HR agenda and execute business-specific HR strategies and funnel employee insights to the relevant HRBPs to influence organisation strategy.
- Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.
- Lead key HR processes including performance talent management compensation planning onboarding new manager assimilation etc. incl. training.
- Support the resolution of workplace conflicts by fostering constructive dialogue and fair outcomes.
- Ensure all HR matters are handled fairly and consistently with local laws and regulations and our company compliance regulations.
- Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny judgment and care.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college in a Human Resources related area
- Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in a client support HR role preferably in an industry environment
- Sound knowledge of Austrian labor law
- Developed (oral and written) communication and diplomacy skill set with the ability to influence others by presenting sound and logical arguments tailored to the audience
- Hands-on self-starter who has a demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and work independently while being able to effectively navigate and partner in a matrix environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and capable of handling multiple issues and/or projects simultaneously and executing to completion
- Excellent collaboration influencing project management organizational and change agent skills
- Passionate employee advocate who wants to make a difference in the organization by helping employees succeed
- Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels
- Strong customer service focus with a high level of responsiveness
