UAT Leadership & Delivery
- Perform and oversee business testing on technical solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Lead UAT strategy planning and execution for projects of varying complexity.
- Develop and manage test strategies create and review test cases for traceability execute test cases and validate defect resolutions.
- Manage all UAT requests for the business group ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-application dependencies and downstream impacts with IT and business teams.
- Advocate for and implementautomation solutionsandAI-driven testing approachesto improve efficiency.
- Monitor and track UAT performance results address issues and ensure continuous improvement.
People Management
- Build and lead a high-performing UAT team; attract retain and develop top talent.
- Foster a culture aligned to company purpose values and strategy; role model values and behaviors.
- Provide coaching mentoring and career development opportunities for team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews recognize and reward achievements and manage underperformance effectively.
- Create an inclusive environment that promotes diversity collaboration and innovation.
- Ensure clear accountability set inspirational goals and connect team objectives to organizational purpose.
Strategic & Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
- Develop business cases recommend priorities and advise on resource requirements for strategic execution.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Qualifications
- Education:Bachelors degreein Computer Science Information Systems Business or related field (Masters preferred).
- Experience:
- Typically 7 years in UAT QA or related roles with leadership experience.
- Strong understanding ofSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC)and Project Delivery Framework.
- Experience inCommercial BankingorFinancial Servicespreferred.
- Familiarity withOnline Banking applicationsis a plus.
- Proven success implementingautomated testing frameworks Accessibility Testing andAI-based testing solutions.
- Skills:
- Verbal & written communication Expert.
- Analytical and problem-solving Expert.
- Influence and collaboration Expert.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and make data-driven decisions.
- Technical Tools:JIRA Quality Center Selenium or similar.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing tools (e.g. Axe JAWS NVDA) and WCAG standards.
Preferred Certifications
- ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent.
- Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM SAFe) preferred.

$102000.00 - $190000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.
