Job Description
Position Summary
Orange EV is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to lead the planning design development and implementation of new products and manage existing products.
Position Responsibilities
- Schedule and lead project review meetings throughout the lifecycle of the product
- Collaborate with numerous internal teams including Design Engineering Process Engineering Test Engineering Sales Purchasing Production Warehouse and Field Service to identify define and resolve issues related to the product
- Collaborate closely with the Program Chief to prioritize engineering tasks related to the product
- Organize and manage engineering tasks specific to the product through Jira Software
- Manage the Engineering Change Control (ECR) process including leading change control meetings expediting tasks and implementing changes into the product
- Create and update project planning documents including project requirements product design assumptions bills of material project schedule and budget
Position Qualifications
- Engineering undergraduate degree
- Minimum 10 years of experience in product technical design or development
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project/program management
- Demonstrated ability to effectively understand technical materials and communicate to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal means to various audiences
- High level of organization managing multiple tasks of various sizes on different schedules with ever-changing levels of priority
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues and plan ahead; proactive work ethic
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct daily activities with integrity and professionalism
- Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Word Excel Outlook Project SharePoint and Teams
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have
- Highly preferred automotive background
- Experience and knowledge in automotive product development product launch and manufacturing
- Basic knowledge of Jira Software

- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
- Work in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
