Position Summary:
Responsible for reviewing federal Rehabilitation Investment Tax Credit and Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit projects providing technical preservation information and delivering lectures and other presentations on historic rehabilitation techniques to the public and managing special programs and projects as assigned. Includes conducting preliminary meetings with applicants consultants and architects and conducting completeness reviews and substantive reviews of project applications. Manages program tracking database and paper files and assists the staff the public and agencies in addressing queries providing data and generating reports from various data sources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education & Experience:
Graduate degree in historic preservation historic architecture architecture architectural history historic preservation planning history or a closely related field and must meet the professional qualifications standards in 36 CFR 61 Appendix A. Familiarity with the Secretary of the Interiors Standards and their application and national historic preservation laws regulations and guidelines.

Normal office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work. Work may be stressful at times. Work may involve public speaking attendance at public meetings and site visits. Involves frequent contact with staff and the public.
