Job Description
Job Description: School Cleaner
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented School Cleaner to maintain a clean hygienic and safe environment for students staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Clean and sanitize classrooms hallways restrooms offices and common areas
- Vacuum sweep and mop floors
- Empty bins and replace liners
- Dust furniture fixtures and equipment
- Clean windows mirrors and other glass surfaces
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks during school breaks
- Report any damages safety hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Follow proper safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning products
- Assist with setting up and breaking down for school events when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day
- Flexible schedule to accommodate early morning evening or weekend shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic English communication skills
