Job Summary
Willmer Engineering is growing! Were looking for a motivated Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician to join our Atlanta team. Whether youre an experienced technician or just starting your career this is a great opportunity certifications are preferred but were willing to train the right person.
What Youll Do
- Test soils concrete asphalt masonry and other construction materials on active job sites.
- Operate field equipment such as nuclear density gauges compression machines and coring devices.
- Record results using mobile tools and communicate findings with contractors clients and engineers.
- Support special inspections and site assessments.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in varied conditions.
- Strong work ethic attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
- Certifications (NICET Level I/II ACI Level I Concrete Nuclear Density Gauge) are preferred but well provide paid training and certification support for the right candidate.
- DOT project experience a plus.
