The Coral Springs Police Department has a diverse workforce with an authorized strength of 230 police officers and over 99 civilian members who are dedicated to providing the highest level of professional service to our citizens businesses and the visitors we serve. We are nationally accredited as an Accreditation with Excellence Agency in both Law Enforcement and Communications through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) as well as a Meritorious Agency at the state level through the Florida Commission for Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA). Under supervision this position is part of the Police Departments Body Camera Program performing various specialized administrative and non-law enforcement functions. This position entails receiving managing and maintaining multiple forms of digital evidence in compliance with discovery laws public disclosure laws public records retention laws and the adopted policies and procedures of the Police Department. The employee will be processing public records requests including video/audio redacting to ensure compliance with public disclosure and privacy laws.
