Job Description:
E&S Region within Royal Canin plays a key role in developing the Emerging Markets to enable the big growth plays of the future. The Graphic Chain Manager plays a role in achieving our brand-building and growth journey -- with the aim to develop next-generation Royal Canin packaging and brand experiences.
This furthers the distinctiveness relevance and impact of the number one global pet nutrition brand worldwide delivering our purpose to serve the health of millions of cats and dogs around the world.
Within the framework of ROYAL CANINs 2025 packaging roadmap following premium brand values & sustainable development engagement the E&S Graphic Chain Manager will be responsible for the production of packaging & design products with our suppliers while respecting internal deadlines regulatory requirements and processes.
Bachelor University degree in Marketing/Communication/Design/Packaging Science
3 to 5 years professional experience in packaging design & production acquired either with the advertiser or one of the operators in the graphic chain (agency photoengraver)
Fluent in English other languages are a plus
A good knowledge of the technical aspects of the Graphic Chain (Production repro step Printing)
Strong Process and Project Management Skills sets with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement
Packaging Material and Printing technology knowledge
Ability to communicate well with the different interfaces (internal-external) report sticking points to the relevant people transparently and objectively agility to solve complicated situations.
Very customer-focused able to focus on the end result and stick to the target
Marketing & Design knowledge
Good perception of processes required to achieve results
Ability to organize work to match available resources
A good understanding of how the company works organizational skills determination teamwork
A perfect grasp of processes and rigor in the application of procedures
Effective multi-tasker with strong time management skills and an ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
Attention to details
The role is a mix of Hands-on Contribution actively participating in the creation and execution of graphics projects balancing managerial duties with direct involvement in design tasks. And Line Management of one direct report Providing the guidance and support required fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Key elements to be delivered are:
Lead graphic production projects in the different locations that belong to the cluster
Represent the Graphics Production team within the cluster ensuring adherence to Graphics global process and systems and reporting unexpected changes or local needs issues and constraints
ensuring the capabilities/feasibility to deliver the innovation/renovation/regulatory roadmap & timeline guaranteeing adherence to
Ensuring that project plans are met for launches in the different locations / markets guaranteeing deadlines for artwork/reprofile delivery for the projects under his/her charge and accomplishing Right First time and On time for artwork/reprofile delivery while escalating risks when needed
Work collaboratively with the Design and Print Production teams to ensure print quality timeline & regulatory compliance.
Bringing together all the elements necessary for the production of packaging for the range under his/her charge
Providing suppliers (agencies/photoengravers/printers) with the elements required to manufacture the packaging
Responsibility for checking packaging at the different stages in the graphic chain
Crosscutting team responsibilities (planning/budget/artwork approval)
Contributing to the introduction of Permanent Progress Plans for suppliers with the team
Tracking the budget and making sure that it is met
Lead contract management for regional Artwork suppliers if needed.

You will work in a unique campus which gathers more than 800 Associates working for: the international HQ the French subsidiary two laboratories a kennel and a cattery with more than 200 cats & dogs and finally the most important factory of the Royal Canin group
