Position Summary:
V-Tech Solutions Inc. is seeking analytical and detail-oriented Data Analysts to support data-driven decision-making in Washington DC. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform program performance policy development and operational improvements.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Data Science Statistics Mathematics Public Health Computer Science or related field
- Certification: None required (certifications in data analytics or statistical software are a plus)
- Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools (e.g. Excel SPSS R Python Tableau)
Experience with qualitative and quantitative data analysis
Ability to acquire and integrate data from multiple sources
Familiarity with GIS and spatial analysis tools
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
Responsibilities:
- Analyze program policy and intervention outcomes using statistical techniques
- Develop and implement data collection systems to ensure high-quality data
- Acquire and integrate data from primary and secondary sources into agency databases
- Use statistical and qualitative software to analyze data and identify trends
- Maintain data integrity and apply control techniques to resolve coding issues
- Develop data management plans in accordance with agency standards
- Interpret patterns and performance indicators to support program improvement
- Clean and filter system reports; ensure legibility and accuracy of outputs
- Collaborate with program managers evaluators and quality assurance teams
- Test system upgrades by inputting new data and reviewing results
- Secure data through regular database backups and confidentiality protocols
