Job Summary

ODaniel Ford is seeking a motivated professional to fill a unique hybrid role as back up F&I Manager and Sales Consultant. This position is split between managing finance and insurance operations and actively engaging in vehicle sales. Strong opportunity to advance into full time Finance and Insurance position. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills a customer-first mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment. Prior automotive sales/F&I experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Finance & Insurance

  • Develop and present a comprehensive menu-selling process to maximize profitability and product penetration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lending partners

  • Review and ensure accuracy of all finance paperwork for timely processing

  • Ensure all deals meet compliance with local state and federal guidelines

  • Support the sales department by providing financing solutions that enhance overall performance

  • Serve as a professional example of ethics integrity and customer service

  • Set and maintain the finance department schedule

Sales

  • Greet customers and assist them through the vehicle purchase process

  • Conduct product demonstrations and highlight key features and benefits

  • Guide customers through test drives and help them select the right vehicle for their needs

  • Negotiate pricing and terms in alignment with dealership policies

  • Collaborate with the finance team to transition customers seamlessly from sales to F&I

  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Prior automotive sales or finance experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic

  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in automotive finance

  • Self-motivated and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment

  • Clean driving record and valid drivers license
