Microsoft Platform Engineer (Financial Services)
- Microsoft Platform Engineer
- South Manchester (Hybrid-working)
- 60000 per annum ( excellent benefits package)
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Microsoft-focused Platform Engineer who will be involved heavily in a major technology transformation underpinned by a new business-wide digital platform and cutting-edge AI initiatives.
In this position you will mentor colleagues influence strategy and shape the future of our clients digital workspace where youll play a pivotal part in deploying maintaining and optimising our clients SaaS-based solutions.
Skills and Experience:
- Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps Power Automate Power BI AI Foundry.
- Microsoft 365 Suite: Exchange SharePoint OneDrive Teams Copilot eDiscovery Purview.
- Governance and Compliance: Data loss prevention retention policies compliance centre.
- IAM: RBAC conditional access MFA/SSO Azure Entra ID.
- Integration and APIs: SaaS connectors automation application lifecycle management.
- Monitoring and Optimisation: Azure Monitor Splunk New Relic licensing cost control.
- Change and Adoption: Training comms and embedding digital ways of working.
- Modern Device Management: InTune AutoPilot.
- Ways of Working: DevOps tooling Agile methodologies and cross-team collaboration.
- Azure/Terraform certifications are highly desirable but not essential.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design implement and support Microsoft 365 and Power Platform technologies to deliver scalable resilient solutions.
- Drive innovation across enterprise applications automation and AI-powered tooling.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to embed best practice governance compliance and security across M365 environments.
- Optimise licensing monitoring and end-user experience to maximise ROI and colleague engagement.
- Champion adoption of new tools through training stakeholder engagement and change management initiatives.
- Influence strategy and team capability development during a pivotal period of digital transformation.
