Salary: Up to 26000.00 per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for a Instrument Coordinator to join their team of staff in theTheatre department.
This is a full- time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
Oversee the preparation and availability of surgical instrumentation liaising with internal decontamination services and external hospitals where required.
Ensure all instruments are clean functional and delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner to meet daily theatre schedules.
Coordinate the tracking and management of theatre endoscopes ensuring safe handling traceability and turnaround times in line with hospital and regulatory standards.
Assist in the ordering rotation and replenishment of theatre consumables ensuring alignment with Circle Health Groups preferred suppliers and procurement policies.
Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking supporting cost-effective resource utilisation and high theatre readiness.
Participate in audits and stock reviews ensuring traceability and expiry management are adhered to.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Experience working within a theatre environment or clinical support role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced setting.
Basic understanding of infection control instrument handling and decontamination processes.
Good communication and teamworking skills with a professional and reliable approach.
