Under general supervision the Financial Aid Representative plays a pivotal role in ensuring students receive timely and accurate information about financial aid this position you will interact directly with students process critical documentation and support departmental operations while maintaining excellent service standards.

  • Provides excellent customer service in a positive and calm manner at the counter and telephone in a high-volume high-profile office.
  • Responds to student email and Chatbot inquiries on a daily basis in a high-volume high-profile office.
  • Reviews intake documents for accurate completion and adherence to Federal State Chancellors Office and CSUN regulations.
  • Attends staff meetings where new policies procedures and forms are interpreted clarified or developed to meet newly identified needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
