Job Summary:TheEcho Technologist/Echocardiographerwill work within the Echo/Cardio Dept. Duties include:
- Assumes responsibility of echocardiographic testing in the cardiovascular department
- Includes but not limited to all 2D echocardiogramstransesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and stress echo tests.
- Insures proper and economical use of equipment supplies and other clinical resources employed in the delivery of quality patient care and maintains appropriate records and files
Experience/Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree required
- Minimum of 5years experience performing echocardiograms in a hospital setting
- Some supervisory experience preferred
- Registered as RCVTor RDCS required
- Echocardiograph certification preferred
- CPR required
Hours: Casual/On Call; Day Shift - 6 hrs per week (1-3 shifts per month is the minimum requirement)
Salary Range: Minimum 58.00/hour - Maximum 58.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
