To broaden our knowledge and meet the growing demand in projects involving new energy carriers carbon capture biogas and thermal energy we are looking for graduates with a degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering to join our team. COWI Renewable Energy is engaged in energy solutions industry power grids and hydropower. The Mechanical and Process discipline focus on projects related to storage and distribution of dangerous substances green fuels CCS biogas and other process industry. As a mechanical engineer you will be involved in projects shaped around our clients requirements and needs. Our clients are always at the center of what we do and we focus on building long-term trusted relationships. This makes it important that you bring a genuine interest in understanding their needs and a passion to help them fulfill their objectives. Some of our customers and projects may require security clearance at various levels and therefore certain roles may involve this requirement. You need to be structured curious and engaged in complex professional challenges. We work on all the project phases from feasibility studies to detailed design follow up during construction and commissioning. We are looking for people to our offices in Oslo or Fredrikstad.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Design systems and facilities.
  • Prepare tender specifications
  • Consult clients as owners engineer
  • Develop our professional environment and contribute with your experience and skills.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you whether they are colleagues partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that you will have:

  • A bachelors/ masters degree or equivalent within Mechanical or Process Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English
