Heres a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

  • Youll take pride in hosting our guests leading the restaurant floor with confidence across breakfast Sunday lunch and dinner service while also supporting fellow F&B leaders in the delivery of afternoon tea and private events
  • Commercial acumen and operational expertise are equally critical; youll have full accountability for the profitability and performance of your department balancing financial responsibility with the delivery of a luxury guest experience
  • With a natural ability to read the room youll anticipate and exceed guest expectations ensuring every interaction is warm thoughtful professional and impeccably presented always reflecting the signature luxury of Gleneagles
  • Inspiring motivating and nurturing a passionate team youll empower them to deliver exceptional service and to be equally captivated by the theatre and magic of the experiences they create for our guests
  • Working in close partnership with our Culinary team youll foster strong relationships built on shared passion clear communication and a commitment to our values creating the foundations that drive genuine excellence
  • Youll be a champion of talent development passing on your expertise and igniting a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Always looking for fresh ways to surprise and delight youll ensure both guests and colleagues experience something truly extraordinary
  • Alongside an experienced senior F&B leadership team youll share your passion for the very best in food drink and people collaboration with our F&B Development Partner youll drive engagement training and recruitment ensuring your team is set up for success
  • Interacting with our guests always warm professional helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

  • With fantastic relevant experience you thrive in the theatre of hospitality yet remain modest understated and free of ego; you genuinely care for others as much as you care for yourself consistently role-modelling this through your words and actions
  • Adept in analysing performance metrics identifying opportunities and implementing operational improvements you ensure that your restaurant operates efficiently sustainably and profitably without ever compromising on service quality or attention to detail
  • Energised by a fast-paced operation and high expectations you are resilient and adept at managing multiple often competing priorities with calm and efficiency
  • You bring a positive professional and courteous attitude consistently seeing the glass as half-full and maintaining composure consistency and grace in your mood manner and behaviour
  • With a natural empathy you intuitively put yourself in the shoes of others whether guests or colleagues recognising that each encounter may be a first-time experience for them no matter how familiar the situation may be to you
  • Flexible and committed you embrace early mornings and late nights working across the week and weekends always leading from the front and by example
