Key Responsibilities & Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be an educator with a degree in History Geography or Religious Studies/Sociology holding QTS and having proven success teaching at least two Humanities subjects up to GCSE.
In this full-time role you will:
- Instructional Versatility: Deliver high-quality engaging lessons in at least two subjects from History Geography Religious Studies (RS) or Sociology across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and GCSE (KS4). The ability to teach a single subject to A-Level is highly desirable.
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement a dynamic curriculum that links human and physical geography historical events and social/ethical issues promoting a cohesive understanding of the world.
- Critical Thinking: Foster strong analytical skills critical thinking and rigorous essay writing across all your teaching groups.
- Collaboration: Contribute actively to the wider faculty sharing resources and contributing to a stimulating academic environment.
