Job Description
An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Head of Computing to join a well-regarded secondary school in Brighton starting January 2026. This senior role involves leading the Computing department delivering inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) Key Stage 4 (KS4) and Key Stage 5 (KS5) and shaping the curriculum to prepare students for success in an increasingly digital world. The school is committed to innovation academic excellence and supporting staff development.
The Computing department benefits from modern facilities including dedicated computer suites coding labs and access to up-to-date software and hardware. The department focuses on developing students computational thinking programming and digital literacy skills. As Head of Computing you will lead a passionate team drive curriculum development and foster a culture of innovation and high achievement.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognised teaching qualification
- Proven leadership experience in Computing or Computer Science education
- Ability to teach Computing across KS3 KS4 and KS5 (including programming algorithms and digital systems)
- Commitment to delivering engaging high-quality teaching and curriculum innovation
- Legal right to work in the UK
