Job Summary
A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Ealing is seeking a passionate and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a part-time permanent basis starting after October half-term 2025. Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities
Plan prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 5 pupils.
Assess and monitor pupil progress using outcomes to inform future planning.
Foster a positive inclusive and safe classroom environment that encourages curiosity and resilience.
Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to develop curriculum resources and share best practice.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
Participate in staff meetings professional development sessions and school-wide activities.
Year 5 Teacher Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils ideally Year 5.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Excellent classroom management communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
Collaborative adaptable and committed to continuous professional development.
