Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join an Outstanding secondary school in Reading from January 2025. This is an excellent role for a subject specialist who is committed to fostering curiosity resilience and a love of Chemistry across Key Stages 35. The successful candidate will become part of a thriving Science department that consistently delivers strong outcomes and prepares students for success at university and beyond.

Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Chemistry Teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry with the ability to deliver engaging high-quality lessons
Proven ability to teach across KS3KS5 desirable including A-Level Chemistry
Experience preparing students for GCSE and A-Level exams an advantage
Enthusiastic innovative classroom practitioner with high expectations for achievement and behaviour
Willingness to contribute to extracurricular enrichment including STEM clubs and national competitions
Legal right to work in the UK
