The Vitals: What Youll Be Doing
This full-time teaching role requires you to inspire students across the secondary age range. Your focus will be on delivering high-impact lessons that boost numerical confidence and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Teach Mathematics with confidence and expertise across Key Stage 3 (KS3) GCSE (KS4) and A-Level (KS5) ensuring excellent preparation for public examinations.
- Student Engagement: Implement creative and varied teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning needs making complex concepts relatable and fun.
- Attainment & Progress: Track and analyse student data meticulously providing targeted intervention and feedback to maximise individual attainment.
- Departmental Collaboration: Actively contribute to curriculum development resource creation and the sharing of best practice within a supportive team.
Candidate Profile: What Were Looking For
To be the ideal fit for this role youll need a strong blend of academic background teaching qualifications and practical classroom experience.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualification: A degree in Mathematics or a relevant quantitative discipline.
- Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification (PGCE).
- Experience: Proven success teaching Maths at secondary level specifically including A-Level classes.
- Skills: Exemplary communication outstanding organisational skills and strong classroom management in an inner-city context.
