Reception Teacher Responsibilities

Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the Reception curriculum
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports childrens social and emotional development
Provide individualised support to meet each childs needs and abilities
Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practice
Monitor and assess pupil progress providing regular feedback to children parents and staff
Maintain accurate records of pupil achievements behaviour and development
Communicate effectively with children parents and colleagues to build strong partnerships between home and school

Reception Teacher Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) EYTS or PGCE
Strong knowledge of the EYFS / Reception curriculum and assessment frameworks
Experience planning and delivering engaging early years lessons
Excellent classroom management communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create a nurturing stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Highly organised flexible and adaptable to the needs of pupils and the school
Passionate about early years education and supporting each childs development
