Job Description

We are working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Hounslow that is seeking a dynamic KS2 Teacher to join their enthusiastic team on a part-time basis (4 days a week) starting after the October half-term. The school is committed to providing an exceptional education and fostering a supportive nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

KS2 Teacher

  • Part-Time (4 days per week)
  • Permanent Contract

KS2 Teacher Responsibilities

  • Plan prepare and deliver engaging lessons for KS2 students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing regular feedback and setting learning targets.
  • Implement teaching strategies that meet the needs of a diverse classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices.
  • Maintain a safe inclusive and positive classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing.
  • Participate in staff meetings professional development and whole-school activities.

KS2 Teacher Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching KS2 in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaborative working.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching in a team environment.
