The Vitals: What Youll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Delivery: Teach Mathematics effectively across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and GCSE (KS4) building foundational knowledge and fostering enthusiasm for the subject.
- ECT Induction: Fully participate in the schools bespoke ECT Induction Programme attending regular training sessions and engaging in reflective practice.
- Curriculum Engagement: Plan and prepare engaging lessons adapting resources to meet the diverse needs of all learners and utilizing data to monitor student progress.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with your assigned departmental mentor and the wider Maths team to share ideas receive feedback and continually refine your pedagogy.
Candidate Profile: What Were Looking For
This role is specifically for a newly or recently qualified teacher with a passion for Maths and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualification: A degree in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field.
- Certification: Hold or be expecting to successfully complete Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) upon taking up the post.
- Status: Must be eligible to begin or continue the Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction period.
- Skills: High potential as a classroom practitioner excellent communication skills and an eagerness to learn and contribute to school life.
