Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Avionics Technician
LOCATION: Greenville SC
PAY RATE: $32-38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: 1st (5:30 AM 4:00 PM) or 2nd shift (3:00 PM 1:30 AM).

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Build and repair electrical harnesses; read and interpret schematics/diagrams.
Label and identify wires/cables using wire marking machines.
Operate harness braiding machines to organize and protect wiring.
Assemble test and troubleshoot wafer connections.
Modify and construct Gigabit Ethernet Switch (GES) systems including troubleshooting and repair.
Perform ethernet wiring modifications testing and troubleshooting.
Assemble troubleshoot and modify circuit breaker panels and matrix assemblies.
Collaborate with engineers/technicians to resolve complex technical issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed.
Follow safety protocols when working with electrical systems.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Avionics Testing 4 6 years
Cable Wire Harness 4 6 years
Ability to read/write English and use a computer.
Strong writing and blueprint reading skills required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills

F-16 Experience 4 6 years
