We are looking for a Surgical Technician to work in Sierra Vista AZ supporting our client.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to support surgical teams in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the operating room a strong understanding of sterile technique and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Applies principles of asepsis to perform scrub duties for operative procedures.
Prepares operating rooms by setting up instruments equipment and supplies.
Assists surgeons and nurses during procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments.
Maintains a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
Handles cleans and prepares surgical instruments and equipment according to protocols.
Assists with patient positioning and transport as needed.
Follows all safety infection control and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

Surgical Technician certification or completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
12 years of experience as a Surgical Technician in an operating room setting.
Knowledge of surgical procedures instrumentation and sterile techniques.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a hospital or surgical center environment
Current CPR/BLS certification.
