Job Summary

Registered Nurse Med/Surg (Rotating Shift)

Location: Kansas City MO 64101
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Shift: 12-hr Day / Night Rotate
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct individualized nursing care based on patient-centered assessment and treatment plans
Monitor record and communicate patient condition as appropriate
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Administer medications treatments and other procedures as prescribed
Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance
Ensure compliance with hospital policies procedures and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical records system
Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations

Required Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN)
Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Missouri or compact license in accordance with state regulations
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire
Minimum of 1 year RN experience in an acute care or Med/Surg setting required
Strong critical thinking communication and organizational skills
