Job Description
Location: Anthony KS 67003
Duration: 13-week
Job Type: Travel Contract
Shift: 8-hr Days 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2200 - $2400; Depending on experience (negotiable)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients physical therapy needs using evidence-based techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Provide direct patient care to promote mobility relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.
- Document patient progress and response to treatments in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with nursing staff case managers and other therapists to ensure coordinated and high-quality care.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Requirements:
- Current and active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Kansas.
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- 1 year of recent inpatient experience.
- BLS certification (AHA Required).
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient-care skills.
