Job Title: R&D Lab Technician / Associate

Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Lab Technician/Associate to support our research and development team.
This role involves hands-on laboratory work technical testing and documentation in support of product development.
The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills technical curiosity and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a wide variety of laboratory research development and testing tasks in support of R&D projects.
Conduct product performance and software script testing including assembly and validation work.
Operate calibrate and perform limited troubleshooting of lab instruments and equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes meters analytical balances).
Maintain lab equipment track inventory of supplies and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Record analyze and interpret experimental data and prepare detailed technical documentation including reports summaries and protocols.
Support development and validation of technical procedures recordkeeping systems and experimental methods.
Collaborate closely with engineers and scientists contributing to problem-solving and process improvements.
Qualifications: Education: Associates degree or higher in engineering science or a related field.
Experience:
1 2 years of mechanical electrical or laboratory experience strongly preferred.
Recent engineering graduates with relevant internship experience will also be considered.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
Experience preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with statistical tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and specifications.
Hands-on troubleshooting experience with basic lab equipment (oscilloscopes meters balances etc.).
Basic knowledge of science and math concepts applied in an engineering or laboratory setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Background
Mechanical or electrical background.
Experience in a medical device or regulated R&D laboratory environment.
Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues while following established procedures.
