Job Summary
Junior Quality Controller Food Manufacturing
- Location: Epping Industria Cape Town
- Salary: R12 000 to R16000 per month CTC (aligned to experience).
Are you a detail-driven individual with a passion for food safety and product quality We are looking for a Junior Quality Controller to join our factory team and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
In this role youll be hands-on with in-process checks GMP inspections hygiene monitoring and documentation control while supporting the Quality Manager in keeping the site audit-ready.
Job duties:
- Performing in-process and end-of-line checks (weights seals coding labels sensory).
- Assisting with GMP sanitation verification allergen control and hygiene monitoring.
- Maintaining records and quality documentation.
- Supporting audits non-conformance follow-up and staff compliance training.
Requirements:
- A qualification in Food Science Food Technology Biotechnology or equivalent (preferred).
- 12 years experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
- Basic understanding of GMP and HACCP.
- Detail-focused organised and confident with Excel.
- Willing to work shifts and be hands-on on the factory floor.
