Junior Process Engineer - Secunda Mpumalanga - Salary: R26000 to R30000 CTC
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Process Engineer to join a dynamic operations team in Secunda Mpumalanga. Reporting to the Operations Manager the successful candidate will provide essential technical support to ensure optimum plant performance and availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of plant processes.
- Support production targets by providing process technical expertise.
- Monitor plant health and performance identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Lead the onsite implementation of process changes.
- Provide input into process-related aspects of projects including commissioning of new installations.
- Manage risks related to the protection of plant equipment.
- Train and support operators to maintain high performance standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years experience in an engineering or related field (preferred).
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Experience in water treatment will be advantageous.
- Must be a fast learner and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Own reliable transport required.
