A retail associate at a hospital can make a significant impact on the lives of patients visitors and hospital staff alike. Through friendly and empathetic customer service they contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere providing a sense of comfort to individuals facing challenging situations. Their role extends beyond transactions creating a supportive environment that enhances the overall experience for everyone in the hospital.
Job Specific Duties
- Operates cash register with an accuracy of 99.85% (plus or minus).
- Sets up appropriate cashier bank.
- Documents cash received and charges made.
- Identifies customer needs and refers to appropriate department for follow-up when necessary.
- Collects data for cash control.
- Stocking refrigerators with beverages condiments etc.
- Cleaning sanitizing polishing general work areas this includes sweeping mopping vacuuming and throwing trash.
- Prepare and gather items needed for meal service.
- Provides exceptional service to all guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will need
- ServSafe Certification and State Food Handlers Card
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- High School Diploma/GED
