Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic for a 6-month contract role in Broken Arrow. This position involves fabricating assembling installing and repairing sheet metal parts equipment and products. The Mechanic will work with blueprints sketches and product specifications to ensure all work meets precise standards.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints sketches and product specifications
Lay out and mark dimensions trace patterns and use templates
Operate fabricating machines such as shears brakes presses and forming rolls
Weld solder rivet or bond components to assemble products
Inspect finished assemblies for conformance and perform repairs
Maintain accuracy quality and security of materials and tasks
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in sheet metal fabrication
Ability to calculate measurements and apply basic algebra
Strong ability to follow written oral or diagram instructions
Reliable punctual and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

Lift/move up to 2550 lbs as needed
Good vision and depth perception
Comfortable in a moderate noise environment
