About this position:

The Space & Occupancy Project Manager will be responsible for space and occupancy planning of all LMCU buildings and locations. This individual will also be responsible for the accuracy of the space as well as move plans and assisting with real estate strategic initiatives. The Space & Occupancy Project Manager will serve as the central point of contact for all business units regarding work-space needs and requirements and will collaborate with business units to develop workplace solutions that align with LMCUs business strategy and that optimize space utilization within corporate guidelines.

Travel Requirements: This position requires regular travel with a valid drivers license to attend meetings at administrative buildings visit branch locations assess facilities and provide support for renovation and construction projects. Occasional out-of-state travel may be required for new branch builds based on project needs.

What youll do:

  • Coordinate and oversee the allocation of building space office layouts furniture and cubicles. Monitor unassigned space and make recommendations on use. Manage relocations including the development and execution of project planning activities timing of group moves/relocations and migration.

  • Responds to all furniture related requests and work orders in a timely manner. Determine and coordinate the best resources for miscellaneous furniture repairs or replacements. Obtains quotes from various suppliers for all furniture and décor needs. Evaluates request and propose solutions for budget alignment and cost effectiveness ensuring expenses are approved and remain within project or departmental budgets. Verify accuracy of deliveries quality of installation invoice reconciliation and approval.

  • Lead the Space Planning Committee meetings by providing data for the committee to review and also make recommendations for space utilization. This will be accomplished by reviewing the branch audits submitted by Retail and traveling to all LMCU corporate locations to perform space utilization and furniture audits at a minimum of once annually.

  • Actively manages the communication and coordination of all LMCU construction and renovation projects. Keep all internal departments informed of schedules and coordinates task requirements for a successful project. Frequent interaction with our vendor partners to ensure on time delivery of their respective category i.e.; furniture décor and general contractor. Utilizes project management tools (e.g. ServiceNow SMP) to drive transparency assign tasks track progress and provide consistent updates to stakeholders.

  • Work with all department leaders to implement space plans aligned with corporate strategies. Make recommendations to optimize the use of space while meeting business needs.

  • Work closely with Interior Designer and furniture suppliers to create and maintain finish pallets for all projects. These pallets can be shared with the Space Planning Committee for review and approval.

What youll bring:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of similar or related experience in a Project Management role.

  • Bachelors degree in Workplace Strategy Business Project Management Facilities Management or related field (recommended).

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (required).

  • Experience with all types of workplace furnishings and space planning. Proficiency in leveraging project management tools and methodologies to ensure effective planning tracking and communication across teams.

  • Strong written/verbal communication presentation facilitation and data collection and analysis skills.

  • Knowledge of architectural drawings FF&E space planning construction costs and project schedules

  • Ability to safely operate a vehicle in all weather conditions
