The Data Protection Services department are looking for a developer to join their team in Glasgow.

Responsibilities:

• Develop soutions to support the Data Protection Services department. Solutions include data scanning discovery and inventory products.
• Assit with product evaluations including installing configuting testing and documenting products.
• Communicate with stakeholders and guide applications teams to remediate security issues.

Skills Required

• Excellent problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Experience of developing in Python or other language including object orientated coding
• Experience with releational databases developing queries and reports.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Understanding of data encryption
• Proficiency in Linux or other Unix variant
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps
• Experience with CICD pipelines containerization (Docker Kubernettes)
• Good understanding of the internet protocols TCP/IP HTTP SSL/TLS etc
