Are you a strategic and people-focused leader with a passion for driving performance and delivering exceptional customer outcomes ActewAGL Retail is seeking a Team Leader Credit & Affordability to lead a high-performing team responsible for credit operations hardship support and debt recovery across electricity gas and water services.

About the Role

Reporting to the Credit and Affordability Manager youll oversee daily operations coach and develop team members and ensure service excellence across all credit and affordability functions. This includes managing the Staying Connected program legal and tribunal matters and collections for both mass market and commercial customers.

A day in the life

• Lead mentor and support the Credit and Affordability team to meet KPIs and service standards
• Manage team rosters leave and workload distribution
• Oversee debt collection activities including disconnections reconnections write-offs and tribunal liaison
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Drive continuous improvement through audits data analysis and stakeholder collaboration
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports including NECF reporting
• Resolve escalated customer complaints with professionalism and care
