Job Summary
Durango School District 9-R is accepting applications for Ice Hockey Specialist Coach to assist the head coach with all duties of the program and be an advocate for student athletes. Proactive responsible coaching during games and practices and throughout the season. Additional responsiblites outside of the season to prepare may be necessary as well. Begins November 2025.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid CHSAA Certification or Colorado Teaching Certificate/License
Fundamental knowledge of specialty area in Ice Hockey
Experience working with related school aged athletes/students
Ability to work as an integral part of the coaching staff
Current medical injury treatment course work
