Our Work-Based Learning Program is a three-month internship that places selected candidates with employers across Arkansas in IT support positions to gain experience under the guidance of a professional mentor/IT support team.
Internships are designed as an on-ramp to kick off an IT support career and can roll into full-time positions based on employer demand.
What youll do
Fix things! Youll work both independently and collaboratively to troubleshoot and support a wide range of technologies like Windows Chromebooks VMs Fiber HVAC Units Wireless thermostats Aruba Switches and APs Network Printers CISCO VOIP Call Manager System
Provide end-user IT support and training including creating and updating documentation as well as consulting clients on applications best practices and general computing processes
Communicate coordinate and follow up with customers and stakeholders
Recent (or soon-to-be) graduates with full-time availability to commit to an internship and potential full-time role
Self-taught individuals and career changers passionate about a career in IT
Service members within 6 months of military-to-civilian transition

Ability to work in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship
Current Arkansas state resident
High curiosity and interest in learning new technologies and growing or starting your IT career
Exhibited technical aptitude through projects or previous experience and ability to communicate what you know

Pay: $15/hour not eligible for benefits
Schedule: 40-hour week: typically 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday
Length of Internship: 3 months
Location: Lowell AR
