Job Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team! The individual in this position will perform general housekeeping duties ensuring that specified areas are kept in a safe clean and orderly condition and maintain quality control standards to ensure compliance with state licensing and operating standards.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Perform cleaning janitorial laundry and/or floor care services to meet specific performance obligations.

  • Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.

  • Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.

  • Observe safety rules and use safety equipment provided.

  • Report safety and maintenance concerns to maintenance department.

  • Report any cross-contamination issues to supervisor to initiate corrective measures.

  • Respond to campus visitors inquiries and requests in a courteous and timely manner providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry preferred.

  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and infection control procedures preferred.

  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations preferred.

  • Ability to work independently while adhering to policies and procedures.

  • Must be available for weekend shifts

Hours: This is a part-time position.

Compensation: $18 an hour based on education and experience
