The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean sanitary and safe environment for residents staff and visitors. This role is essential to infection prevention resident comfort and overall facility appearance in a healthcare setting.

Minimum Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize resident rooms bathrooms hallways dining areas offices and common spaces
Disinfect high-touch surfaces in accordance with infection control and facility protocols
Collect remove and properly dispose of trash biohazard materials and recyclables
Replenish cleaning supplies paper products and personal protective equipment as needed
Follow established cleaning schedules and special cleaning requests
Use cleaning chemicals equipment and machinery safely and correctly
Follow all OSHA CDC and facility infection control guidelines
Assist with terminal cleaning of rooms after resident discharge or transfer
Additional Considerations
What Were Looking For
Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
Knowledge of infection control in a nursing home environment is a plus
Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays may be required
Commitment to compassionate resident-centered care
