Role Description

ICEYE is looking for a Manufacturing Technician (CNC Operations) to join our team supporting mold fabrication and finishing processes on ICEYEs stratospheric airplane development.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of CNC machinery including material loading and unloading starting and monitoring programs and performing manual finishing and treatment of molds.

Youll work closely with engineers and machinists helping to transition designs from programming into real production addition youll be responsible for machine cleaning basic upkeep and supporting the team in preparing parts for further integration.

This is an opportunity to join a dedicated growing manufacturing team working on high-impact projects.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload CNC machines with raw materials and finished parts. That will include high-tech carbon fiber composites prototype and production moulds using composite tooling blocks and other materials
  • Prepare and execute CNC programs
  • Perform cleaning maintenance and preparation of CNC machinery
  • Carry out manual mold finishing deburring and treatment tasks
  • Support engineers and machinists with prototype and production runs
  • Follow health safety and quality standards in daily operations
  • Identify opportunities for improving efficiency and reliability in workshop processes


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 13 years of hands-on experience as a CNC operator or technician
  • Ability to interpret basic technical drawings and instructions
  • Practical hands-on mindset with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic English (spoken and written) required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mold finishing machining or manual treatments
  • Familiarity with CNC programming software and G-code basics
  • Workshop experience with tools and equipment
  • Proactive and self-motivated can-do attitude
  • Passion for making things fixing things and learning new processes
