Chubb is seeking aSenior Front End Software Engineerto join our is a permanent full-time position and a compelling opportunity to join a global growing financially stable and successful company. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain user-facing web applications developed using Angular.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and deploy new features.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Write clean maintainable and testable code using best practices.
Integrate with RESTful APIs to connect the front-end interface with backend services.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications are current and competitive.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and address any issues.
- Participate in agile/scrum development cycles and contribute to planning and estimation processes.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Practical experience using GenAI (Claude/CoPilot/Gemini) with a good understanding of subagents MCP and controls; used to support the design development testing.
7 years of proven experience as a Front End Engineer with a focus on Angular.
Proficiency in TypeScript JavaScript HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience with state management libraries
Familiarity with Angular CLI and other development tools.
Understanding of responsive design principles and best practices for mobile-first development.
Experience with unit testing frameworks
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts clearly.
