If you are looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an opening for you asa Proposal Engineer.

In this 12-month internship role you will work together with the proposal team to learn about the basics of analytical systems (Liquid and Gas applications). You will provide support on proposals prepare basic price offers learn new solutions/technologies through continuous engagement on request for proposals from internal and external customers.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Accumulate and continuously update knowledge about the division the products offered and the local/global organization.
  • Become familiar with the EMR analytical products portfolio (e.g. online training classroom training factory tours etc.) and complete the Onboarding plan activities.
  • Become familiar with engineering language like chemical compatibility heating cooling lag time power load wake frequency etc
  • Ask for configuration and prices for EMR and buyouts analyzer under the supervision of a more experienced proposal engineer.
  • Prepare and deliver basic analytical systems proposals with the help of a more experienced engineer and participate in proposal kick-off meetings.
  • Prepare price offers for spares at the required quality and on time.
  • Learn and understand minimum and basic applications SWAS Aspirator CEMS of the analytical systems.
  • Learn understand and use existing database of executed projects price lists suppliers and agreements for day-to-day activities.
  • Monitor and expedite requests for offers from suppliers required for MSS basic applications.
  • Complete clarity WFH Win/Loss database and CRM correctly and on time.
  • Work closely with the assigned buddy collaborate with Solution Architects Proposal Engineers Sales Lead BDMs Execution Team suppliers and customers and follow the correct working methods procedures tools.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors Degree (Chemistry Process Engineering Physics Electrical Engineering)

  • Self-organized

  • Good knowledge of MS Office

  • English language skills - verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Prior exposure to analytical products or experience in an engineering environment
