What Youll Be Doing
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and grow a high-performing engineering Mission Team focused on delivering Loopios first agents.
Foster an engineering culture centered on experimentation accountability and craft.
Mentor engineers and technical leads helping them navigate the unique challenges of building agent-based systems.
Partner with recruiting to attract and retain top technical talent with AI/ML expertise.
Technical Direction & Architecture
Drive the architecture and evolution of Loopios agent platform.
Define design patterns for building reliable observable and secure agents.
Partner with Data and ML teams to integrate LLMs vector stores and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines into agentic workflows.
Make architectural decisions that balance rapid prototyping with production-scale reliability.
Execution & Delivery
Own the delivery of agent-driven features from concept to launch.
Collaborate with Product and Design to define customer-facing workflows and iterate quickly based on feedback.
Manage dependencies across teams to ensure smooth delivery of complex AI-driven features.
Establish feedback loops and monitoring to ensure agents perform reliably in production.
Operational Excellence
Champion best practices for safe explainable and testable AI-driven systems.
Ensure robust observability telemetry and error handling for agentic workflows.
Lead post-incident analysis and continuous improvements for agent-powered systems.
Streamline development workflows tooling and processes to speed experimentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a key partner in shaping Loopios product strategy around automation and agentic workflows.
Collaborate with Data Infrastructure and Product teams to ensure scalable AI/ML foundations.
Communicate technical trade-offs risks and opportunities to stakeholders across the business.
Innovation & Emerging Technologies
Explore new agent architectures orchestration frameworks and safety guardrails.
Keep current with developments in multi-agent systems workflow orchestration and LLM-powered automation.
Encourage innovation and experimentation within the team while ensuring production-readiness.
What Youll Bring to the Team
8 years of software development experience including 24 years in engineering leadership roles.
Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents agentic workflows or autonomous orchestration systems.
Proven track record of bringing at least one agent-based product or feature to market.
Technical fluency with LLM integration RAG pipelines vector databases and workflow orchestration frameworks.
Strong understanding of distributed systems observability and production-level AI deployment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to align technical innovation with customer and business value.
Track record of fostering high-trust inclusive and collaborative engineering environments.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related fieldor equivalent industry experience.

Loopio is a global company HQd in Canada that embraces flexible and effective work models. While many of our teams operate remotely this role is part of a new strategic product team that will work in a hybrid model to accelerate innovation and foster deep collaboration.
For this role you will be based in our Toronto Ontario hub with the expectation of working from our co-working space in downtown Toronto 3 days per week. This approach is intentionally designed to give you the best of both worlds: high-impact in-person collaboration with your team to drive impactful product initiatives and the flexibility of focused work-from-home days.
Our co-working space located in the heart of Downtown Toronto and a 12-minute walk from Union Station
Our employees (or Loopers as we call ourselves!) live and work in Canada (British Columbia and Ontario) London and India (specifically in Gujarat Maharashtra and Bengaluru).
Youll collaborate with your teams virtually across the UK India and North America (were just a Zoom call and Slack message away!) with core sync hours and focus time for headsdown work during the workday
