Job Description
Join our team as a Linux Systems Administrator where you will support and manage a diverse mix of workstations servers and high-performance computing (HPC) clusters. We are looking for a skilled professional with a solid foundation in Linux administration and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Securely deploy and manage Linux workstations servers and HPC clusters.
- Administer local and remote filesystems efficiently.
- Automate tasks using shell scripting and Python.
- Manage security features including firewalls and SELinux.
- Work with Ansible for system configuration and automation.
- Deploy and manage containerized environments using Docker or Podman.
- Maintain and optimize HPC clusters with tools such as Bright Slurm and xCAT.
- Configure and manage Linux networking and associated services.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices company and agency policies and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation of plans system configurations and operational processes and procedures.
