Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and innovative Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Ann Arbor location. This is an in-person position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and will be responsible for designing developing and testing electronic components and systems. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise particularly in areas such as PCB design debugging and programming.

Duties

  • Design and develop electronic circuits and systems using tools such as Altium Designer.
  • Create and test prototypes of electronic devices ensuring functionality and reliability.
  • Conduct debugging processes to identify and resolve issues in electronic designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems into larger projects.
  • Perform measurements using tools such as an oscilloscope to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Document design processes test results and project specifications for future reference.
  • Perform thermal testing and iterate new designs to meet design goals

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in firmware development and embedded programming languages such as C.
  • Experience with PCB design and layout software is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Familiarity with debugging techniques for both hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
